Why I Left Goated

There are actually multiple reasons for this that have built up over a few weeks for me. Others that also left may have other reasons but here are mine:

  1. Deposit Issue – At one point I deposited $50 that never arrived. Upon contacting support, the first refused to recover it because it was less than $100. I had all the blockchain transactions showing it arriving at Goated but they still didn’t care. It took me threatening to leave, and telling them I had plans to deposit a large amount for them to recover my funds.
  2. Originals are sus. Many people who know me will know I like playing Originals. While I never had any major issues running the Dice original for wagering, every other original I tried felt like they were rigged. One time playing Mines on 1 mine setting, I had the bomb appear in the same spot 10 times in a row (the spot I always clicked first at that time), then on the 11th show I clicked elsewhere, and again hit the bomb first time. While technically this isn’t impossible, the fact it happened is very suspicious. Playing the same game other times I regularly hit mines first time, yet playing on Shuffle in the exact same way on 3 mines I can regularly click 4 or 5 tiles without touching a bomb, over and over. Then we talk about their tower game, it was the same. Both of these games felt like it was deciding where the bomb was as you were clicking, rather than pre-generating it so you can dodge the bomb. When they added Roulette, I first tried it with the 5 Double-Street strategy, got 1 win, and then had over 20 spins all missing the numbers I had covered. Their Blackjack was buggy and wouldn’t run how I expected it to half of the time, and their Uno Lite is definitely favouring the AI even with them claiming a really low house edge.
  3. The Final nail in the coffin for me on Goated, was the person I was referred under, VicoGambles. His leaderboard timer had ran out, with myself in first place and 2 friends of mine in 2nd and 3rd. A few hours after the timer ended, he put an announcement on his discord saying he had accidentally ended it a day early, and would be extending it for 2 days. Following this, I noticed a name that hadn’t even been in top 10 or qualifying for a leaderboad prize climbing the ranks. Within a few hours, that person had taken 2nd place, which resulted in my 2 friends being put out of $150 total prize. You might say this didn’t really affect me, however if the person had continued to climb they would have knocked me out costing me $150 in prize money. It was while this person was climbing, I was speaking to Vico and he admitted that he had personally messaged that person to tell them that the leaderboard had been extended. If he hadn’t done this, then that person would never have jumped in.
Personally, and to a few others, we feel he should have honored the original timer and paid out, but he doesn’t care that other people suffered because of what he done, and all he cared about was reaching wager milestones for his affiliate bonus from Goated. As an extra note, all 3 people who were top 3 had personally helped Vico first get his deal from Goated, and maintain it by ensuring at least 200k of wagering happened in the month.
On top of this, he claims that he pays for the leaderboard himself, but from the images below you can see that he is paid by Goated for the amount of wagering done under his code, which is why he has a 25k wager requirement in order to be paid out, which is why many people who were wagering under his code, weren’t actually receiving prizes.
I have put 3 images below as proof of what he done.

So overall, all these things combined have resulted in me leaving Goated. I hope this clears some things up. Going forward I will purely be playing on Shuffle.
